Have you tried to stop and find yourself falling back into the same patterns? Are you someone seeking emotional relief on a daily basis in ways you wish you didn’t? Do you have a family member or loved one who might be struggling with alcoholism or drug addiction and need direction? Addiction is a complex struggle, affecting both the individual struggling with the addiction as well as family members. These are just a few, simple examples of what we can explore together, no matter how drug and alcohol abuse have impacted your life or where you are on your recovery journey. Addiction is not always black and white. Being able to discern the difference between abusing a substance and struggling with a substance abuse disorder is always a good place to start. Often an increase in drinking or using can be situational as well. Being able to identify and mitigate certain stressors that make us more susceptible to abuse is often a process. We also teach individuals the tools necessary to move beyond addiction and help our clients, who are in recovery, create relapse prevention protocols that suit their individual experience and need.
