A quick note about the history of blogs. So the internet lore goes, the first blog was actually written by Justin Hall in 1994. At that time the term “blog” did not exist and he simply referred to the page where he expressed himself as his home page. In 1997 the term “weblog” was coined in reference to logging information onto the web and in 1999 the term was shortened to blog. A few years later the term would be added to the American dictionaries. Crazy huh? Anyway, I digress…

Our hope at Restore Nashville is that our website and blog serve as helpful resources to you and that the blog, specifically, can be a space where more musings live –  things that Katherine and I are passionate about or relevant therapy topics. Though we both prefer living in the interpersonal / face-to-face realm with folks, we recognize the benefits of an online presence as well. Some blogs will be focused on mental health issues, and others will be life / lifestyle or the day today. We would also like to hear from you. If there is something you have an interest in learning more about or discussing, then feel free to email us. We will post as regularly as we can. Thank you for taking the time to come by and check out our blog section.
